Del Shores comedy Sordid Lives is a twisted white trash tale that puts the "fun" in "dysfunctional." The hilariously sordid details about a Southern family surface with a vengeance when relatives converge for the funeral of Grandma Peggy, who died tripping over her lover's wooden legs. Toss in a couple of feuding daughters, the cross-dressing "Brother Boy," a jumpy aunt that can't quit smoking, a strip-tease hostage situation and a funeral reception that will leave you in stitches. Warning: This quirky 90-minute romp contains sexual innuendo and mature subject matter. Proceeds from this event will benefit Metro Wellness and Community Centers.
