THE BIG BANG!

By Jed Feuer and Boyd Graham
January 29 thru Februrary 21

"The Big Bang! should become an annual event for the Tampa Bay area. It kindles the kind of laughter that burns calories and clears the way for a happy new year. The lyrics and premise of this show are brilliantly funny; Jed Feuer and Boyd Graham created one of the finest musical-comedies with the cleverest use of props, bar none. But it takes two brave, shameless actors to elevate the production to a level of genius. These guys did it. (Candler) Budd and (Matthew) McGee had perfect-pitch timing and even more chemistry than the couples they portrayed. The entire 90-minute performance was inspired, though there were some moments that were downright sidesplitting."
-Tampa Tribune

"There's an undeniable element of brilliance to The Big Bang the opening-night audience for the American Stage production roared with laughter."
-St. Petersburg Times

"Think the worlds gone to hell in a handcart and there's not much reason for optimism, let alone laughter? Then get thyself to the American Stage production of The Big Bang for an hour and a half of inspired hilarity."
-Sarasota Herald-Tribune

Matthew McGee returns for the fun!

Two wacky off-Broadway creators, "Jed" and "Boyd", are in the borrowed Park Avenue penthouse of Mrs. Sidney Lipbalm to perform the "highlights" of their impending extravaganza, an epic musical that spans the history of the world from the big bang to the present, for potential backers - all played by the audience.

And that's just where the fun begins!

Their play is budgeted for $83.5 million with a cast of 318 performers and 6,428 costumes. Over 18 side-splitting musical numbers, singing, dancing, narrating, and portrayals of every major figure in world and pop history, including Adam and Eve, Nefertiti, the Virgin Mary, Plato, Napoleon, Caesar, Attila the Hun, Columbus, Pocahontas, Mrs. Gandhi, and Cher, to name a few.

This is a must see hit!
