Youth Programs
A child’s thirst for creative expression is nurtured early and often at American Stage. Through our various classes, camps, and performance events we encourage children and teens to become lifelong patrons of the theater. While our Teaching Artists are some of the Bay Area’s most accomplished professional actors, students don’t need previous experience to participate in our youth programming. American Stage offers a wide variety of programs from classes and summer camps to student matinees and workshops that enhance your school’s curriculum. Youth Classes – Acting classes are available during the school year to youth Summer Camp – Various camps are offered each summer for children and youth ages 5 though 17. School Programs - Bring an American Stage Teaching Artist to your school to enhance your curriculum. Student Matinees – Discounted tickets and special performance times are available to our mainstage shows. School Tour – Host an American Stage show geared specifically to children at your school.
