SCHOOL TOUR:

American Stage School Tour brings the finest children's literature to the stage. The 2013 School Tour will hit the road in September 2013 and run through November 2013.

Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing

Based on the book by Judy Blume
Adapted by Bruce Mason

Oh, brother! Sibling mischief and best-pal escapades are the problems Peter Hatcher faces in his attempts to deal with his impossible little brother, Fudge. Based on the popular book by perennial favorite Judy Blume, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing is a humorous look at family life and the troubles that can only be caused by a younger sibling.

One of the reasons we like this show so much is it allows kids who have siblings to recognize certain feelings they might be having…and realize it’s OK to have them.”– Kate Hanely, Tour Director of Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing at the Kennedy Center

The 28th annual American Stage School Tour will reach over 18,000 K-5 students in Pinellas and Hillsborough County.  The School Tour visit has become an eagerly anticipated event by children and families across Tampa Bay.

A Study Guide, following the National Common Core Curriculum standards for educators, enabling them to make the show an active part of their curriculum, accompanies the production. To bring the 2013 School Tour into your classroom, contact Tom Block, Director of Operations at 727-823-1600 x 208 or tomblock@americanstage.org.
